V-Motion rocks for kids!

We recently bought our daughter the V-Tech V-Motion game system. She loves it! It has a great controller that is easy to use. You can play the games with either the joystick option, or use the entire controller like a Wii controller.

The games are fun and educational and I have no problem letting her play while I get my housework done. I’m not nervous about any inappropriate content. If you already have VSmile games, the VMotion is backwards compatable, which makes it nice. I haven’t played with this feature yet, because I just found the VSmile game today. However, once we try it out, I’ll get back to you all. Another great feature is the USB option. You can upload your child’s progress to the VTech website to see how they are improving and learning!

As a mom, I totally recommend this game system for your younger kids. It’s fun, educational and they learn some basic gaming moves as well! This Geek Mom gives it two thumbs up!

Kid Play

As a mom, I am always looking for great games for my four year old (Sophia) to play. This Christmas, she received a lot of Target gifts cards, which we put to good use. Sophia just bought a Leapster2 and at first my husband and debated whether she would have the hand/eye coordination required for the handheld game. But we got home and she took to it like a duck in water. We got her the Backyardigans game, which she is enjoying as I write this.

We also ordered the VSmile V-Motion system for her as well. I am excited to see how she likes this as well. It is similiar to a Wii for kids and the games are all educational. I’ll have to let you know how it goes when we get it.
