I loved Fright Night growing up. It was campy, a little scary and fun. I have to admit when I heard that Dreamworks Studios were in the process of a remake, I was a little skeptical. However, after watching the trailers and hearing that David Tennant was attached to the movie, my skepticism decreased. For those who know me, or have read my blog for a while, know that I am a HUGE David Tennant fan.
I finally got to see a glimpse of David in action as Peter Vincent, and now so can you! Enjoy!
Here is a funny guy that makes movie mashups, they are called CinemaCereal and they are hilarious! Check out his mash up of North by Northwest and Follow that Bird! Who knew Bert & Ernie were so dramatic! Matthew Muhl is genius! Make sure to subscribe to him and laugh away!
Okay, so I’m on a bit of TRON kick today. It happens! THis has to be one of my favorite songs to run to, work out to, and just listen to. What I love about this song, especially when I’m running (yes, nerds run) is that it one of those songs that the beat just drives me (or you). So, as I have the day off of running, Enjoy this awesome song on me!
If you are fan of True Blood like I do, you will be happy to know that Season 3 is now on DVD and Blu-Ray! This season was a really good season. It was grittier than normal, Sookie really stepped up and showed her stuff and we found out that there are sexy werewolves & witches out there too (as if you didn’t know already)! It was full of action and craziness!
Harry Potter’s awesome special feature is the Maximum Movie feature, which allows you to watch the movie while the cast and crew talk and show clips about the making of the movie, the history of Harry Potter and other really cool stuff, all narrated by Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy). It’s like watch the director’s commentary on steroids and it’s really cool! I love Warner Bros new feature and I really hope that they incorporate it into more of their movies. I didn’t find any cons about this new feature, everything was cool and it gave you a lot of time to look over the videos and etc.
Tron Legacy was watched last night used Disney’s Second Sight feature. This one is a little tricky. First, you have to download the iPad app on the Apple app store, then you have to remember your Digital Copy disc code to enter it to sync the movies, then you have to sync the discs. While the stuff shown on the iPad was really cool, there were a lot of cons. So here it goes:
Syncing was a bit of a pain
Make sure to shut off all push notifications on your iPad, because it will mess up your sync and you will have to resync
There isn’t enough time to check out all the features during the time alloted while watching the movie, you have to resync a lot and then you miss stuff.
It’s mostly storyboard drawings.
Don’t watch the movie this way if you have never seen it before, because you will spend the entire movie watching the iPad.
So as you can see, Maximum Movie is way cooler. I think that Disney has the right idea, but the timing is horrible. I think if they put less storyboarding photos, then we would have time to look at the massive amount of content they put into the Second Sight.
Okay, I am really excited for this one now. While I was hesistant to like it because I just couldn’t picture Chris Evans as anything but Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four, after this trailer, I am thrilled!
That’s right folks, Conan the Barbarian will be returning to the big screen this year. While it doesn’t not star Arnold, it does star the ever impressive Jason Momoa, who you may remember as Ronan Dex in Stargate Atlantis. This trailer looks pretty good, so I’m excited to see it, what do you think?
Okay, I am REALLY excited for this movie to come out! Not only is it a Spielberg flick, but J.J. Abrams as well! It looks good and I can’t wait to see it. Watch the trailer and let me know what you think!
While this is not an official Batman 3 trailer (this is fan made), I thought they did a really good job of showing the evolution of Miss Harley Quinn into the villain that she becomes. As a reader of Batman and of the Harley Quinn character, I can tell that the production team did their research into the characters and did a great job!
