So boredom struck one day and I decided to clean up the clutter in my house. The remotes are always plaguing me as they just lie about everywhere and are never where you need them! Yep, that’s right you now stream videos and TV shows through Amazon.com! Most of the TV episodes are around $2.99. However, if you have paid for an Amazon Prime Membership, a lot of the videos and TV episodes are now free!!!

So, if like me, you don’t have cable, satellite or etc and you watch TV through your computer (or even if you do have those things), make sure to check out Amazon.com’s video streaming!

Now, I will say that while I plan to use Amazon streaming, I will not be shutting off Netflix. I still enjoy Netflix and they have a lot of good kid shows and movies that my kids like to watch, plus I like getting the DVDs in the mail as well. So I would suggest Amazon Video as a supplement to Netflix, but not a replacement.

To my loyal readers, I apologize for the lack of posting today and also for the lack of weekly recap. I will get this done tomorrow. I have been viciously fighting a horrible flu/sinus infection that has not only rendered me useless in the blogging world today, but also at home as well.

While I normally cook a good home cooked meal, my idea of cooking has been fast food for the last few days. In blogging there are no sick days, however I realize that it is better to not post then post something that makes no sense. I hate the WTF types of posts and refuse to do them. So thank you for baring with me and I will be medicated and back to my regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow!

Make sure you have enough bandwidth and etc to actually support the MASSIVE amount of traffic your website will get! So, the thousands of people who want the coupon can’t get it because

Companies get so wrapped up in the selling that they fail realize the implications of beefing up their server. Now people are pissed because they can’t get their coupon and they are hating Coffeemate because of it. I think that International Delights owes Coffeemate a big thanks for sending people their way! While browsing the internet, I recently ran across this great little jem! 101 Housework Songs! It’s six discs of greatness that varies from many different generations and decades! One minute you will find Katy Perry, the next Frank Sinatra! This music set has been awesome for not only housework, but long car rides, having company over and just chilling out!

Let’s face it, doing the dishes is a lot more fun when you can belt out “Respect” or “9 to 5″! This CD set is fun and keeps you moving, even when you really don’t want to! It was the best CD purchase I have made in a long time and I highly suggest that you snag it too!

My Comfy Homemade Socks!

I decided that even though it was the middle of July, I needed to get started on my sock making! Because let’s face it, Autumn is just around the corner! So I bought so great variegated yarn and used one of my favorite patterns and went to town! Sophia liked them so much that she wants a matching pair! These socks are cute and comfy too! I’m not much of a shoe wearer around the house, but I love warm comfy socks, so this was perfect! So, now off to knit Sophia a pair and if I have leftover yarn, then Sarah gets some too!

I am a reader of Seattle Business magazine. This month’s issue featured a Seattle based company called Cozi. Cozi is the best online calendar, planning and etc tool I have seen, plus it’s free! They are local to me and I am big on supporting local businesses! Cozi is also a place where you can set up your family website as well. I also love the texting feature, so if it’s late at night and I need Brad to pick up something on his way home from work, I can text him to do it! Cozi is also great at To Do Lists. I can create a To Do list for each person, for the family or etc. This has been nice since I live by To Do lists. They are also printable, which has been awesome as well, espeically for us SAHM who need to do lists to accomplish anything sometimes! Make sure to check out Cozi and start up with them today!
