Zack Snyder’s newest: Sucker Punch

Okay, after 300 and The Watchmen, I am a huge Zack Snyder fan! That’s why when I stumbled (ok, actually Brad did) across this, I knew I just had to share! Stylistically, it’s gorgeous and from what I can see of the trailer, the plot line seems like it will stand up in court too! I . . . → Read More: Zack Snyder’s newest: Sucker Punch

Netflix Instant Queue: Wii vs. Xbox 360

Recently Wii and Netflix paired up to allow Wii users to watch their Netflix Instant Queue on their Wii Console. I have to admit, I was a bit surprized at how much I liked the Wii’s Netflix interface. I do have to admit though, the Xbox 360 is a bit nicer platform for Netflix.

Shrek vs. Prince of Persia!!!

Okay, so I have a chance to preview the following movies Shrek Forever After and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Both were good movies, but for totally different reasons.

First Shrek Forever After: This movie was WAY better than Shrek 3! (I have pretty much pretended that Shrek 3 doesn’t exist.) This final Shrek movie . . . → Read More: Shrek vs. Prince of Persia!!!

This week’s DVD Movie releases are a bit on the weak side, unless you are a die hard Nicholas Sparks fan. This week, Dear John, based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks comes to DVD. While this movie did okay in the box office, it fell pretty flat for me. It was your typical run of . . . → Read More: DVD Release Tuesday: Nicholas Sparks or Vampires? You decide!

Why Cameron Crowe is the best!

(Normally, I don’t try to delve too much into what I feel, I try to be more factual. Today, however I am throwing facts out the window, as I have been ridiculously sick for the past week!)

I recently went back and downloaded (through iTunes) all of the movies directed and written by Cameron Crowe. . . . → Read More: Why Cameron Crowe is the best!

Would you want this guy as your Captain America?

After months of waiting, it is now official: Chris Evans will be playing Steve Rogers aka Captain America in the upcoming 2011 release. As a die hard Cap fan, I’m not sure how I feel about this. As Chris already filled the scorching shoes of Johnny Storm, I am guessing that Marvel . . . → Read More: Would you want this guy as your Captain America?

Iron Man 2: Good for kids?

After viewing Iron Man 2, I was impressed. Typically sequels do not live up to the originals, however this seemed to be the exception to that rule. The storyline really did a great job at showing the narcissism and heroics that Tony Stark as Iron Man faces. Being the only person taking . . . → Read More: Iron Man 2: Good for kids?

Audio/Visual Pacifer

Jenny Masche of Raising Sextuplets calls these great DVD’s her “audio/visual pacifers”. What dvd’s are they? Praise Baby! These great dvd’s are a hit in our household with not only my baby, but my 5 year old as well. They feature great praise music set to cool scenes and pictures. Not only that, but they are . . . → Read More: Audio/Visual Pacifer

I finally got to see the new Star Trek movie. (I am a huge fan, and would have liked to have seen it opening weekend, however I ended up having our newest daughter that weekend!) I totally LOVED it! It was amazing from start to finish, like a roller coaster ride that . . . → Read More: Star Trek
