Dr. Zoidberg hat. (Not me in photo)

So, I have been a knitter for 25+ years and I love it. However, sometimes I get frustrated by the lack of fun and nerdy patterns out there and the lack of people who want them! So when I was recently asked to create a partially reconstructed Death Star baby blanket, I jumped at the chance! I am halfway through it and it’s looking amazing (don’t worry, I will post photos after)! Next up, I have a Cthulhu baby blanket, a Boba Fett hat, and lastly a Zoidberg hat! In fact, I am so buried in nerd knitting projects, that I couldn’t be happier!

The best thing about knitting nerdy projects is that I get to create my own patterns and have fun with it! I feel challenged when I work on stuff like this!  It forces me to be more bold and risky when I knit stuff like this.
