30 Rock

Okay, so I am a little bit slow on things sometimes! I just discovered the show 30 Rock. What a hoot! I love Tina Fey’s character Liz Lemon, she reminds me of myself, which is slightly scary! Alex Baldwin is hilarious as Jack Donaghy. I loved the episode “Jack the Writer” in which Jack is trying to flex his Six Sigma Quality training skills. I am married to a M.B.A. and soon to be a PhD grad, so I can relate to the Six Sigma standards.

I am only on Season One, so far, but I am loving it. Thanks to Netflix Instant Queue and Xbox, I am able to watch the old episodes anytime I want, which makes it nice for those lovely nights when I can’t sleep!

If you haven’t checked out 30 Rock, make sure to do so, it is hilarious!

Last week’s CSI episode!

Sorry, it has taken me a awhile to blog this, but I actually loved last week’s episode of CSI! “A Space Oddity was awesome! It’s isn’t posted up on Hulu yet, but if you have Netflix and an Xbox, you can watch it now.

What I loved about this episode was the fact that there were so many Battlestar Galactica cast members in it! David Eick, creator of the newest version of Battlstar, played a crowd heckler, as did Grace Park, formerly known as Sharon Valerii. One of the biggest cameos was played by none other than Kate Vernon, known as Ellen Tigh and the final Cylon!

I think it was a funny episode, especially with all of the Battlestar cameos. The premise of the episode mirrors the fan reaction of the newest version of Battlestar (which sadly is over now, you’ll just have to Netflix it!). Eventually the fans caught on, but it took awhile for some.

Check it out and tell me what you think!

I’m a MAC now!

We just got a Mac G5! I am really liking it so far and am totally excited to start using this more. We still have our PC, but we are slowly migrating things to the MAC. I can’t wait to start using the cool programs like Garage Band and the many other awesome programs!

Needless to say, I have been nerdgamisming, especially after visiting the local Apple store. More to come later!!!

Emerald City Comicon, part 2

Earlier, I wrote a post about the upcoming Emerald City Comicon. Just a few updates here, the tickets are now $20 for the one day pass and $30 for the two day pass at the door.

We just updated the media guest as well! Any Battlestar Galactica fans need to get on down here!!! We will have Tahmoh Penikett (Helo),  Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) and Michael Hogan (Colonel Tigh). I am stoked to say the least! I joked with one of my friends that I should write HERA on my 9 month pregnant belly to see if I get a laugh out of Tahmoh. I’m too modest to actually do that, but still, it would be funny!

So, if you live in the Pacific Northwest, come check out the Con!!!

Spring Break fun for kids!

Hey Moms! Do you have a Sesame Street fan at home? I found a great website for kids and parents from Sesame Street. I mostly use the art section of the website. The printable coloring pages are great and there are so many to choose from!

I am having a few of my mom friends over and their kids, so I thought I would look to find a few pages. A few was the understatement of the year! There are a lot! So, for those Spring Break Days where it’s rainy and icky outside, print up a few pages, but also make sure to check out their fun activities and kid games as well!
